Demand in European market

12 de November de 2019adminfactorydataNEO

Analyzing 10 million searches for alternators and starter motors in the European market over the last 12 months, we can extract some interesting data.

Around 19,000 product solutions are needed to satisfy 99% of demand in all types of application segments. The most important range of needs are in light vehicles, followed by industrial applications:

If we segment the results by country, there are clearly large differences between them. The United Kingdom, Germany and France would have the highest number of necessary product solutions:

If we combine the needs for product solutions from different countries and analyze the existing demand according to distinct segments of application, we find that in Europe, 41.67% of demand is in light vehicle, 15.48% in industrial, 12.43% in agricultural, etc. But there are significant differences; for example, in Poland, light vehicle represents up to 55.89% of total demand while the industrial drops to 10.83%.
