{"id":6066,"date":"2024-08-27T10:19:22","date_gmt":"2024-08-27T10:19:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.factorydata.com\/?p=6066&amp;lang=en"},"modified":"2024-08-27T10:19:22","modified_gmt":"2024-08-27T10:19:22","slug":"how-to-make-the-most-of-visit-to-trade-fair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.factorydata.com\/en\/how-to-make-the-most-of-visit-to-trade-fair\/","title":{"rendered":"How to make the most of a visit to a trade fair?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>The <strong>Automechanika Frankfurt<\/strong> trade fair is just around the corner, and almost all of us have it marked as one of our must-see visits.<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.factorydata.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Automechanika-Frankfurt.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6061\" src=\"https:\/\/www.factorydata.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Automechanika-Frankfurt.jpg\" alt=\"Automechanika Frankfurt\" width=\"500\" height=\"534\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>Every trade fair is a great opportunity to <strong>establish or strengthen business relationships<\/strong>, but since our <strong>time is limited<\/strong>, we must <strong>make the most of it<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n<h4>Whether you are a trade show veteran or someone making their first visit to a trade show, it is important to review what to <strong>keep in mind<\/strong>:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><strong>Get information in advance and organise your visit<\/strong>. Visit the fair&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/automechanika.messefrankfurt.com\/frankfurt\/en.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a> to find out how to get there and access the site (<strong>with the entrance ticket you can use the public service for free<\/strong>, as long as you are travelling to or from the fair) and check the opening days and hours (from<strong> 10 to 13 September 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.<\/strong> and on<strong> 14 September from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.<\/strong>).<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4><strong>Buy your ticket to the fair.<\/strong> The earlier you do it, the cheaper it usually is. You can also try to <strong>ask a supplier or client who is participating as an exhibitor<\/strong> to provide you with a <strong>voucher to obtain the ticket<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4><strong>Plan your visits<\/strong>. It is important to <strong>check the list of exhibitors<\/strong> to find out in advance which <a href=\"https:\/\/automechanika.messefrankfurt.com\/frankfurt\/en\/exhibitor-search.html?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">companies<\/a> will be present at the fair and try to arrange a meeting in advance. You should also check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/automechanika.messefrankfurt.com\/frankfurt\/en\/programme-events\/events.html#\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">events<\/a> taking place during these days. <strong>Plan a list of interesting visits\/events<\/strong> on a sheet of paper, noting the day\/time, pavilion, stand and\/or location of the event.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4><strong>Make the most of your time<\/strong>. You can use your time between meetings and events to recharge your batteries and grab a bite to eat (there are plenty of restaurants and food stalls both inside and outside the halls). You can also <strong>walk through other unplanned pavilions<\/strong> where sure you will find something of interest.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4><strong>Materials you should bring<\/strong>. You should travel as light as possible, but don&#8217;t forget to bring with you: a bag, a laptop if necessary, a notepad and a pen (or otherwise a mobile phone), a charger, presentation sheets for your company\/service and a<strong> lots business cards<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4><strong>Elevator pitch<\/strong>. Prepare, memorize and rehearse a<strong> one-minute pitch that presents your company\/service<\/strong> and fits the solution to a need or problem of your potential client.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4><strong>When the fair is over<\/strong>.
